This position is to join our innovative Professional Scientific Services (PSS) programme as an employee of Eurofins. The programme places full-time analysts, technicians, scientists, and technical support personnel managed by Eurofins directly at the client facility to provide long-term staffing needs while maintaining the same services, expertise, and cGMP compliance available at the Eurofins facility. Job Description

The purpose of this job is to serve as a member of the Eurofins PSS QCL group within the client environment to support their technical and analytical tasks, working to the highest standards in terms of quality and professionalism.

Job Responsibilities

• Verification/Calibration of laboratory equipment, including balances, pH meters, and pipettes.
• Preparation of chemical test reagents as required.
• Sample management responsibilities including label printing, sample sorting and storage, and notification to relevant groups.
• Cleaning laboratory equipment such as refrigerators and incubators.
• Sanitisation of laboratory areas, maintaining cleanliness in both visible and hidden areas.
• Stock replenishment within laboratories and ordering consumables.
• Temperature monitoring within laboratories as required.
• Shipping materials to external laboratories for testing and preparing shipping documentation.
• Providing assistance to other staff members as required.
• Ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
• Adhering to all safety, housekeeping, and quality standards, notifying management of discrepancies.
• Flexibility to work in any area of the business to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• NCEA certificate in a related discipline or administrative qualification (preferable).
• 1-2 years laboratory housekeeping experience (preferably in GMP facility).
• GMP experience (preferable).
• Good team player.
• Good communication skills internally and externally.

Additional Information

This is a full-time permanent opportunity.

Working hours: Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 17:00 & Friday 08:00 - 16:00.
