About this Opportunity
We are seeking to recruit a Laboratory Technician for our Harvey Fresh site in Harvey, WA, to work under the supervision of our Quality Coordinators and Manager.
This role provides support across all laboratory areas to ensure products meet food regulations, safety standards, and specifications. It is a hands-on role suited for someone eager to learn and committed to delivering quality products to our customers. The successful candidate must be available for shift work, including weekends, and should focus on safety, quality, learning, and attention to detail, while also fostering good relationships with colleagues.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The ideal candidate should have a tertiary qualification in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field, or relevant experience in a food manufacturing laboratory environment.
Good communication skills, self-motivation, a strong focus on safety, environment, and quality, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.
