ForMotion is seeking a Lab Technician-I to assist in fabrication, maintenance, and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices under clinician guidance. The role emphasizes quality, safety, and clean lab practices within a patient‑centered environment.

You will work under close supervision, handle basic devices, perform routine repairs, and ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining a collaborative, patient-first approach.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the Role

A ForMotion Lab Technician-I supports the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of prosthetic and orthotic devices according to prescription and under the guidance of certified clinicians. Ensures work meets quality standards and maintains a clean, safe work environment.

What You’ll Do

Key Responsibilities

• Fabricates basic orthotic/prosthetic devices as instructed.
• Performs routine maintenance and minor repairs on devices and tools.
• Tests devices for movement, alignment, and basic stability.
• Completes assigned work orders accurately and on time.
