Job summary

Össur seeks a Prosthetist Orthotist to join our on-site clinical team. You will collaborate with fellow practitioners to design, cast, and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices while advancing through competency increases and escalating responsibilities.

You will document clinical activity, participate in education sessions, and contribute to patient education and follow-up. The role emphasizes patient-first care, teamwork, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Certified Prosthetist Orthotist or Board-Eligible Master’s Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics
• 0–2 years of clinical experience in O&P
• Strong patient-first mindset and service orientation

• High integrity and ethical conduct

Responsibilities

• Perform basic patient assessments with oversight

About the Role

We are seeking to hire an on-site (full-time) Prosthetist Orthotist for an incredible opportunity to grow and expand your career in our clinic. This clinic has a talented team that focuses on the highest level of patient care. In this role, the candidate will work alongside other practitioners in creating quality prosthetic and orthotic devices. A systematic approach will be used to transition the candidate through various competencies with increasing levels of amputations and other responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

Who You Are

• Certified Prosthetist Orthotist by the American Board for Certification in Prosthetics & Orthotics, or Board-Eligible Master’s Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from an accredited university


• 0-2 years of clinical experience

Work Environment

This role is based in a professional clinical office setting. Regular use of standard office equipment and O&P lab tools (e.g., grinders, ovens, routers, hand/power tools).
