Job summary

Acara Solutions in Elkhart, IN, is seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to support day-to-day production activities for in-vitro diagnostic reagent manufacturing. You will perform routine lab and production tasks, maintain cleanliness, assist with equipment and materials, monitor inventory, and help sustain production schedules.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of experience in laboratory or manufacturing.
• Experience working in GMP/ISO environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support routine manufacturing and laboratory operations, including stocking, cleaning, glassware washing, and general lab support.
• Assist with low-complexity manufacturing activities and equipment support, including column and equipment maintenance and cleaning.
• Monitor material inventory and collaborate with laboratory teams to ensure buffers and materials are available to meet production schedules.
• Support buffer manufacturing activities and other laboratory needs as required.
• Conduct 5S audits to maintain laboratory cleanliness, organization, and equipment readiness.
