Job summary

Ampcus Inc. is seeking an entry-level Laboratory Technician to join our manufacturing team in Elkhart, IN. This role involves producing reagents for in-vitro diagnostic assays and supporting daily lab operations with a strong work ethic and professional demeanor.

Ideal candidates may have limited lab experience or relevant industrial exposure and familiarity with GMP/ISO standards. Local candidates are preferred, with opportunities to contribute to 5S audits and ongoing equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• B.S., B.A., or A.S. in a relevant field, or relevant work experience preferred.
• Industrial experience and knowledge of GMP/ISO preferred.
• Limited laboratory experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations with routine stocking, cleaning of manufacturing areas, and other laboratory support duties.
• Perform low-complexity manufacturing operations and equipment support, including column maintenance and equipment maintenance and/or cleaning.
• Perform glassware washing.
• Support material inventory monitoring.
• Collaborate with laboratory biochemists to order required buffers to meet weekly schedules.
• Support the Buffer Manufacturing Lab as needed.
• Conduct 5S audits of laboratories to ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and organization.
