Job summary

Mirafra Technologies is seeking a hands-on Electronics Technician to support PCB assembly, rework, and lab validation activities. This role collaborates with Applications Engineers to build, modify, debug, and maintain evaluation boards and test systems in a fast-paced lab.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in electronics assembly or PCB rework.
• Proficient SMT and through-hole soldering (IPC standards preferred).
• Ability to read schematics and assembly drawings.
• Experience with microscopes and basic measurement equipment.
• Familiarity with cable assembly, crimping, stripping, and wire termination.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented lab environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform SMT and through-hole soldering, rework, and component replacement on PCBs
• Support board bring-up, modification, and debug activities in the lab
• Assemble and modify cable harnesses, wire assemblies, and mechanical subassemblies
• Read and interpret schematics, BOMs, and assembly drawings to execute builds accurately
• Inspect workmanship using microscopes and other inspection tools to ensure quality standards
• Troubleshoot basic electrical issues using multimeters and lab equipment
• Maintain ESD compliance and follow lab safety and cleanliness standards
• Document rework, modifications, and test observations clearly and consistently
• Collaborate with engineers to implement design changes and support evaluation efforts

Physical and Work Requirements

• Manual dexterity for fine-pitch soldering and small component handling


• Ability to lift up to 25-30 lbs as needed
