Our client, a leader in the scientific industry, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting essential laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Laboratory Technician

Location: Catlettsburg, KY

Pay Range: $17.00-$27.50

What's the Job?

• Perform routine testing of a large volume of samples, including process water, crude oil, refined products, and renewable feedstocks.
• Prepare samples for distribution, testing, retention, or disposal as appropriate.
• Work in a team environment with other technicians and chemists under the direction of a lab coordinator or supervisor.
• Meet training expectations and demonstrate competency in lab techniques per standard operating procedures.
• Provide timely and accurate data entry of lab results while following laboratory quality assurance protocols.

What's Needed?

• Associate’s degree or higher in the natural or physical sciences.
• Ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills and experience with Excel and Microsoft products.
• Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) is preferred.
