Kelly is hiring a Lab Technician for one of our clients in City of Industry, CA.

• 2pm – 10:30pm, Monday – Friday (Training may take place 12pm-8:30pm for the first month)
• 1-year contract with potential to be converted to permanent
• $23/hr

Need

BS in STEM, Microsoft Office, Analytical Testing Skills

Prefer

SAP, Experience in food or chemical manufacturing

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health, and environment compliance of personnel completing site quality procedures
• Participate in all plant safety reporting
• Conduct analysis in line with QATM's / established test methods
• Document and trend all results appropriately
• Carry out necessary investigations
• Perform benchtop analysis according to procedures
• Maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance / assurance testing
• Support quality control and assurance processes
• Assist procurement to improve quality of raw and packing materials
• Model behavioral standards for the team
• Test raw materials to prevent delays to manufacturing
• Sample, test, and release packaging components
• Conduct routine testing of bulk & packed product samples
• Maintain laboratory paperwork for smooth QC operations
• Issue labels and control label stocks to minimize delays
• Perform QC checks on packed products
• Follow GMP and safe working practices
• Coordinate with other functions to meet goals
• Maintain laboratory tidiness and equipment to ensure GLP/GMP compliance
