Job Title: Chemical Technician I
Location: City of Industry, CA 91748
Duration: 9 Months
Schedule: 2nd shift (Monday – Friday, 2pm – 10:30pm). Training may take place 12pm-8:30pm for the first month.
Job Responsibilities
- Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance of personnel completing site quality procedures.
- Participate in all plant safety-related reporting.
- Conduct analysis in line with QATM's / established test methods.
- Document and trend all results appropriately.
- Carry out necessary investigations.
- Perform benchtop analysis according to procedures.
- Maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance and assurance testing.
- Support quality control and quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality products.
- Support procurement to implement plans that ensure and improve quality from raw and packing materials.
- Model behavioral standards for the team.
- Test raw materials to prevent delays in manufacturing.
- Sample, test, and release packaging components.
- Perform routine testing of bulk and packed product samples, ensuring timely analysis.
- Maintain and update paperwork related to laboratory activities, including specifications, methods, and production documents.
- Issue labels to production and control label stocks to minimize delays and errors; perform QC checks on packed products.
- Adhere to GMP principles and safe working practices.
- Coordinate with other organizational functions to meet requirements and goals.
- Maintain laboratory tidiness, equipment, glassware, and chemical stocks to ensure compliance with GLP/GMP and prevent testing delays.
Required Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Skills
- SAP experience
