Job summary

Advantage Technical is seeking a motivated laboratory assistant in Bartlesville, OK. The role involves preparing and running samples for rheology and chromatography, collecting data, and sharing results with internal customers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and run samples for Rheology, GPC, data collection.

Job description

Position Pay: $28/HR - $30/HR (Depending on Experience)

Responsibilities:

• Use of analytical instruments as well as handling chemical and material/plastic samples.
• Daily responsibilities can vary depending on need and will include but are not limited to:
• preparing and running samples for Rheology, GPC, collecting and organizing data, and sharing data with internal customers.
• Employee should be positively safety minded with all aspects of their work.
• Stop Work responsibility is an expectation of employment.
• Follow standard operating procedures and fully comply with site safety, environmental, health and security procedures
• Prepare samples and run testing on samples
• Collect and organize data to share with customers, some data analysis may be required based on need
• Organize and inventory samples and data

Requirements:

• High school diploma a minimum; Higher Education is a plus
• 1+ year experience in an analytical or research lab
• Ability to work independently after initial training
• Good interpersonal and communication skills: must be able to work well with team members and researchers
• Must have at least basic Microsoft skills, especially Word and Excel
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with reasonable accommodation
• Experience in one or more of the following techniques: Rheology, Chromatography, HPLC, HPLC/MS, FTIR, Raman, DSC, TGA, HPOIT, optical microscopy, or microtomy is highly preferred
