Responsibilities

• Follow safety, environmental, health, and security procedures.
• Exercise Stop Work authority when unsafe conditions are identified.

We’re hiring a safety-focused Lab Technician to prepare and test chemical, material, and plastic samples using analytical instruments. You’ll collect and organize data that helps internal research teams make informed decisions.

Job Duties

• Prepare samples and perform laboratory testing, including Rheology and GPC
• Operate analytical instruments according to established procedures
• Collect, organize, and share testing data with internal customers
• Perform basic data analysis as needed
• Maintain organized sample and data inventories
• Follow all safety, environmental, health, and security procedures
• Exercise Stop Work responsibility when unsafe conditions are identified

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma and more than one year of analytical or research laboratory experience, or a bachelor’s degree in a science‑related field
• Ability to work independently following initial training
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Rheology, Chromatography, GPC, HPLC, HPLC/MS, FTIR, Raman, DSC, TGA, HPOIT, optical microscopy, or microtomy.
