Job summary

St. Luke’s Health System in Nampa, ID seeks a full-time Technical Lead to oversee quality assurance and CAP proficiency testing across the service line. You will mentor staff, ensure inspection readiness, and collaborate with Laboratory Leadership to address quality issues.

The role emphasizes testing accuracy, documentation, and training, with 12-hour shifts from 6am to 6:30pm and weekend/holiday rotations. A Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience with CAP certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and 4 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
• Certification in Blood Banking, Chemistry, Cytogenetics, Cytotechnologist, Hematology, or related MLS/MT fields.
• Experience with CAP surveys, QA/QC and proficiency testing required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Quality Control Monitors monthly.
• Evaluate CAP Survey Performance using CAP guidelines.
• Participate in investigations and Proficiency Error Investigation Reports.
• Ensure CAP inspection readiness and support self/onsite inspections.
• Inform laboratory leadership of quality issues and assist in procedure updates.
• Verify accuracy of test results and troubleshoot QC issues.
