Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laboratory testing procedures.
• Familiarity with CAP, COLA, CLIA, DNV and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Ability to supervise staff and ensure quality control.
• Experience with LIS and lab instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and clinically relevant information is communicated at handoffs.
• Identify patients and samples during pre-, analytical, and post-analytical phases.
• Maintain and improve skills via at least one CE activity annually.
• Lead staff, coach, and address performance with documented action when needed.
• Support proficiency testing submissions and action follow-up.
• Assist Lab Manager with staffing and scheduling and monitor inventory.
