Job summary

Assistance Technique Internationale in Monroe, NC is seeking a Lab Technician 6 (Machinist) for our lab department. This night shift position runs 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule; training occurs on day shift.

The candidate should be self-motivated, able to work in a team, follow work instructions, multi-task, and pay close attention to detail. The role involves measuring, machining, and sample preparation tasks across chemistry, metallography, and machining disciplines.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic across units, decimals and fractions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read measuring tapes and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate abrasive saws to cut test samples.
• Set up and operate lathe, cylindrical and surface grinders, milling machine, drill press and other tools as required.
• Read and follow written work instructions and procedures.

ATI is currently seeking a Lab Technician 6 (Machinist) for our lab department in our Monroe, NC facility. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated, able to work as a team, understand and follow work instructions, multi-task, and show attention to detail.
This is a night shift position from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am, working on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. You will work 2 days, have 2 days off, work 3 days; then 2 days off, work 2 days, then have 3 days off. Training will take place on day shift.Additional Responsibilities
