Job summary

Assistance Technique Internationale (ATI) seeks a Sample and Conditioning Operator for our Bakers facility in Monroe, NC. The role involves sampling and conditioning titanium ingots using multiple machines, with emphasis on quality, accuracy, and punctuality.

The candidate must be able to read work orders, operate grinders and cutting tools, and document results. Ideal applicants will have a High School Diploma or GED and preferably one year of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret work orders from shipping and melt department.
• Operate swing grinders, hand grinders, gas cutting torch, manual bander, and various fork trucks.
• Use drill press to sample titanium alloys.
• Detect and report any defective materials or improper operations.
• Transfer ingots onto roller to begin the chamfering process to bevel the edge of the piece.
• Visually inspect the finished material before sending the next department.
• Stamping materials with proper labels.
• Maintain logs and records.
• Follow and implement all prescribed safety rules and regulations.

We are seeking a Sample and Conditioning Operator to work in our Bakers facility in Monroe NC. In this position you are responsible for sampling and conditioning titanium material (ingots) to meet customer expectations by using a variety of machinery. A successful candidate will demonstrate an attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently.
