University Hospitals Pain Management in Elyria, Ohio, is seeking a PRN Specimen Processor/Phlebotomist to support laboratory operations. The role performs specimen procurement and processing, data entry, and various lab support tasks as part of a flexible PRN schedule.

• Organizes and performs tasks efficiently to meet departmental turnaround time standards.
• Performs computer data entry, laboratory processes including sterile technique, aliquoting and/or phlebotomy
• Processes specimens for laboratory testing
• Competent in the collection or processing of specialized samples.
• Performs with minimal error rate.
• Acts as a trainer and is a resource to other Specimen Processor Phlebotomists.
• Needs minimal supervision and problems solves with little or no supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
