Job summary

Croda is seeking a Lab Support Technician for our Alabaster, Alabama site to support the Manufacturing team in laboratory operations. You will safely handle raw materials, operate equipment, perform chromatography-related tasks, and keep facilities clean in a cGMP environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, lab experience, and strong English communication. Proficiency with MS Office and attention to detail are required, with a commitment to safety and teamwork.

As we deliver our ambitious 2030 Growth Strategy,we’relooking a Lab Support Technician to join our Manufacturing team.

You will be responsible for safely performing all duties associated with the operational aspect of production, including but not limited to the charging of raw materials, the operation of vessels, executing the procedures and techniques associated with bulk organic synthesis, biochemical processing and purification of pharmaceutical products. All work is done with compliance to Safety, Health and Environmental guidelines, government regulations, cGMP manufacturing and process procedures.

Accountable for providing day-to-day operational support to the Croda Alabaster Research Manufacturing team in the laboratory.

• Distribute solvents and bulk raw materials

• Perform packing and tearing down of chromatography columns
• Perform facility cleaning

• Experience in a laboratory environment preferred

• Proficiency in MS Office
• Attention to details, computer skills, work standards, teamwork
