Job summary

Qualifications

• Clerical duties and data entry in a laboratory setting.
• Ability to communicate laboratory results clearly.

Responsibilities

• Process and sort patient/physician orders per procedure manual.
• Answer telephone in a friendly, caring manner and direct calls as needed.
• Communicate with satellite labs and drawing stations for orders and requirements.
• Train new associates and guide the laboratory team.
• Direct phlebotomy team for STAT collections and ensure timely results.
• Operate HIS/LIS systems according to the manual.
