Job summary

Pace® Analytical Services is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor in Lenexa, Kansas, to provide leadership, oversight, and technical guidance across laboratory, services, field, or testing operations. The role ensures adherence to policies and delivers accurate data to support customers.

You’ll supervise staff, oversee testing and scheduling, manage inventory, and coordinate cross-functional activities while contributing to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, or a closely related field.
• Five (5) years of laboratory, services, field, or testing experience, including work with complex programs or operations.
• Two (2) years of team leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Oversee testing, scheduling, inventory, services, and lab coordination.
• Provide research, feedback, and coordinate responses to customer questions.
• Ensure accuracy of testing data, reports, and documentation through audits.
• Interpret and apply department policies; support compliance.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and manage budgets and timelines.
• Promote Pace’s mission with professional, courteous interactions.
