Job summary

The role requires a chemistry/biology background with 5+ years in labs or related fields, and 2+ years of team leadership. Strong communication and project coordination are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology, or related field and 5+ years of lab/services/field/testing experience.
• 2+ years of team leadership strongly preferred.
• Continued employment contingent on licenses and certifications being active.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and compensation recommendations.
• Oversee broad lab operations, testing, scheduling, inventories, and field services.
• Provide guidance to staff and management on policies and procedures; lead change initiatives.
• Ensure test accuracy and data integrity through audits and reviews; resolve discrepancies.
• Interpret and apply department policies; stay compliant with laws and regulations.
• Prepare complex reports and communicate findings to management.
