Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily laboratory operations and staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and quality metrics. You will help drive service levels, financial performance, and patient satisfaction across assigned areas.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Medical Technology, 3+ years as a Medical Technologist, and Florida supervisor licensure (or ability to obtain).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology required.
• 3 years' experience as a Medical Technologist.
• State of Florida Supervisor License in all 5 specialty areas or the ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical and/or non-technical laboratory personnel and daily operations to meet regulatory requirements.
• Oversee personnel, processes, service levels, and regulatory compliance in assigned areas.
• Achieve department goals for service quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and patient satisfaction.
• Demonstrate skill to supervise, teach and motivate staff.
• Review and approve payroll time sheets, requisitions, and scheduling requests.
