Job summary

Palmdale Regional Medical Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Laboratory Clinical Laboratory Scientist with leadership responsibilities to manage the lab operations and ensure quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires five years of CLS experience, a bachelor’s degree, and active California licensure. You will lead a team, improve processes, and ensure safe, accurate testing across all departments.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience as a CLS
• Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science or related field
• California CLS License or California Clinical Specialty License
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical material and regulations
• Strong mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, and ratios
• Excellent problem-solving, organization and people-management abilities

Responsibilities

• Oversee laboratory operations to ensure efficient, economical and high-quality testing
• Coordinate and participate in all laboratory testing areas and ensure regulatory compliance
• Supervise, coordinate and support staff performance and training
