Job summary

Ridgeview seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to provide leadership for laboratory operations across assigned sites, including off-site clinics. The role acts as CLIA Laboratory Director and partners with clinic management to ensure staffing competence and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (MLS) or Medical Technology with clinic coordination experience.
• Experience in technical supervision of a laboratory testing department.
• Certified Medical Laboratory Scientist per CLIA standards (ASCP or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision of the Laboratory and support department goals and initiatives.
• Oversee staffing: recruiting, hiring and orientation; evaluate performance and develop core hiring strategies.
• Manage operating expenses within the budget; support quality improvement and service delivery.
• Review and monitor policies to ensure compliance with local, state and federal standards.
• Identify improvement opportunities through data analysis and collaboration with leadership.
• Oversee laboratory staff and coordinate with clinic site managers on quality needs.
• Monitor quality assurance: patient results, QC records, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting.
