Conemaugh Meyersdale Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Laboratory Supervisor to lead a busy hospital laboratory. This full-time salaried role involves supervising staff, ensuring QC/QA, maintaining compliance, and coordinating schedules for day and night shifts (6 AM–6 PM or 6 PM–6 AM) with weekend and holiday availability.

You will collaborate with the Laboratory Manager, review procedures, train new hires, manage inventory, and troubleshoot instruments to keep turnaround times

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field with NAACLS training.
• 3 years hospital lab experience as MLT/MLS.
• MLS/ASCP or equivalent certification required within 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Maintain staff schedules to maximize production.
• Ensure QC/QA and calibrations are performed on schedule.
• Troubleshoot instrument and equipment failures.
• Document hours in Kronos and manage inventory.
• Develop and review lab procedures with manager.
