Qualifications

• Performs specimen processing, accessioning and data entry in LIS.
• Supports routine lab operations and customer service duties.
• Maintains safety and Universal precautions per lab policies.

Responsibilities

• Receives and logs specimens and assigns accession numbers.
• Labels tubes with barcoded labels, verifying name accuracy.
• Prepares specimens per reference lab requirements.
• Transmits batch reports to reference labs.
