Job summary

Qualifications

• CLIA-defined Bachelor's degree required.
• 4–6 years of laboratory experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in a moderate or high complexity laboratory.
• CLS:CA certification required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises laboratory personnel and reviews performance to ensure policy adherence.
• Oversees day-to-day laboratory operations and makes personnel decisions.
• Analyzes and interprets lab results per established work processes.
• Manages laboratory inventories including supplies and equipment.
• Selects appropriate test methodologies for clinical use of results.
• Verifies test procedures and establishes test performance characteristics.
