Hudson Regional Health is seeking a Laboratory Manager to organize and control all laboratory operations within our integrated health system in Hudson County, NJ. The role supervises workflow, maintains equipment, ensures quality control, and leads staff in testing procedures to support patient care.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, ASCP preferred, and 2–5 years of managerial experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology; ASCP preferred.
• Blood Bank experience required.
• 2–5 years of managerial experience in a hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organizes and controls all aspects of the laboratory management.
• Supervise general workflow, professional customer service and the maintenance of equipment, as well as quality control and day-to-day running of the laboratory.
• Directs and advises personnel in special test procedures to analyze components and physical properties of materials.
• Recommends measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
