Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution, with relevant direct laboratory experience.
• ASCP or AMT certification or other recognized certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex laboratory tests with high proficiency as Laboratory Scientist II and lead across shifts as needed.
• Coordinate processes across shifts and areas to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Supervise staff on shift, facilitate workflows, and ensure adequate staffing.
• Participate in training and QC/QA tracking, ensuring compliance with procedures.
• Communicate with pathologists and management regarding issues and policies.
