Job summary

TriCore Laboratory, located in Clovis, New Mexico, seeks a Laboratory Scientist to perform waived to high complexity tests under CLIA guidelines. This PRN/as-needed role includes operating equipment, maintaining QC controls, and assisting with staff training.

The position requires a biology/chemistry background with CLIA-equivalent education; familiarity with POCT and regulatory inspections is beneficial. The lab offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative work environment in a hospital

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical science or approved equivalence per CLIA.
• Two years’ direct clinical laboratory experience or higher education equivalents.
• Experience with quality control procedures and regulatory inspections preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform waived, moderate, or high complexity laboratory tests.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment; maintain QC/QA data.
• Assist with training of new staff and students; liaison with internal/external customers.
