Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing with independent judgement and documentation.
• Notes abnormal results and informs supervisor or pathologist as appropriate.
• Operates equipment and performs basic maintenance procedures.
• Monitors QC data and initiates corrective action as directed.
• Participates in regulatory inspections and training of staff.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical science (CLIA eligible)

Associate’s degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology

60 semester hours with chemistry/biology coursework
