Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) in Indiana is seeking a Login Technician I to receive samples, label containers, and perform sample login with careful data entry. The role includes verifying preservation and delivering samples to appropriate lab areas, as well as assisting with disposal, weighing, pipetting, and basic aseptic techniques.

The position is 1st shift, 8am–5pm, Monday to Friday. A High School diploma is required, along with the ability to lift 55 lbs and proficient English

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 55 lbs routinely and stand for most of the day.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples, unpack coolers, label containers, scan shipping documentation, and perform sample login.
• Data entry for sample login with a high level of attention to detail.
• Verify sample preservation following SOPs.
• Deliver samples to walk-in refrigerators or lab areas after receipt.
• Assist with sample disposal queue and actions.
• Assist with accurate weighing, pipetting, preparing volumetric reagents and standards.
• Perform basic aseptic techniques, media preparation, labeling, plating.
• Produce bottle kits, add preservatives to containers, and perform shipping, receiving, and login duties.
• Document all work accurately and clearly.
• Follow safe work practices and adhere to company guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner.
