Job summary

Oklahoma State University invites applications for a Laboratory Coordinator in the ENDEAVOR Laboratory. The role ensures safe and efficient operation of chemical laboratories and supports the safety and waste management program.

You will provide technical and operational support to faculty, instructors, students, and facility users, and report to the ENDEAVOR Director on operations, safety, maintenance, inventory and budget needs.

Qualifications

• High School/GED (degree must be conferred on or before start date).
• Four years related experience.
• Ability to operate laboratory equipment and prepare technical documentation.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Manage operation of chemical laboratories in ENDEAVOR and support the safety and waste management program.
• Ensure laboratories, makerspaces, and related facilities operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulations.
• Provide technical and operational support to faculty, instructors, students, and facility users.
• Report to the Director of ENDEAVOR regarding operations, safety, maintenance, inventory, and budgetary needs.
• Serve as the primary safety authority within ENDEAVOR laboratories and related facilities.
