Job Description - Laboratory Research Technician (24004826)
Laboratory Research Technician
The Department of Surgery is looking for an entry-level Laboratory Technician to assist the Lab Manager with duties such as human HC isolation and shipping, culture experiments, and serum sample pickup and processing. The incumbent will also assist with lab maintenance tasks such as glassware washing.
Job Summary
Performs laboratory testing and some analysis on multiple types of specimen samples. Operates and properly sterilizes equipment, maintains inventory, and assists with ordering.
Essential Functions
Physical Effort
Light: Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Work Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
