Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-10 years lab experience.
• Laboratory Technologist Certification is required.
• Working knowledge of MS Office is required.
• Thorough knowledge of lab testing procedures and equipment.
• Familiarity with CLIA, FDA, DNV and AABB standards.
• Ability to create and maintain MS Word documents.
• Ability to perform laboratory testing for provided services.
• Ability to organize information and records, both paper and electronic.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
• Proficiency with MS Excel spreadsheets.

Responsibilities

• Maintains QA, QC, and Proficiency Testing functions and records.
• Resolves technical problems and fixes deviations from specs.
• Prepares quality reports for QPC meetings.
• Oversees method validation and calibration verification.
• Analyzes client complaints and risk management inquiries.
• Reviews policies to meet regulatory requirements.
• Assists with training and competency monitoring.
• Verifies test procedures and performance characteristics.
• Coordinates validation/implementation of new systems and equipment.
• Performs other duties including Laboratory Technologist tasks.
