Job summary

You will collaborate with managers and medical directors to evaluate methods, maintain QA, coordinate education programs, and support budgeting and supply management. The role requires a Bachelor's degree and ASCP certification, with several years of lab experience.

Qualifications

• 4 years experience in a laboratory setting, one of which is in the area of specialization required

Responsibilities

• Collaborates on routine and complex laboratory procedures, develops and evaluates methods, ensures quality control and maintenance, and makes recommendations for implementation
• Oversees quality control/assurance programs and resolves QA issues, calibrations and QA data review
• Maintains computer systems operations, data integrity, and reporting related to assignments
• Coordinates Continuing Education programs and facilitates staff education events
• Assists with financial operations, monitors supply inventory and spends within budget
