Responsibilities include quality assurance, instrument maintenance, staff leadership, training, and regulatory compliance, with collaboration across clinical leadership to support high‑quality lab services for Central Kentucky patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Laboratory Science, or Clinical Laboratory Science.
• ASCP certification required.
• Minimum of four years in a clinical laboratory with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of lab operations, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations and workflow of the laboratory.
• Ensure quality standards, regulatory compliance, and proficiency testing.
• Lead, coach, and develop laboratory staff and manage scheduling.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve efficiency and patient care.
• Manage purchasing, budgeting, and vendor relationships for the lab.
