Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking a Laboratory Operations Manager to lead the Scottsdale laboratory, drive financial performance, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will partner with physician leadership and corporate teams to translate strategy into measurable results while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

You will develop high-performing teams, optimize operations, and maintain service quality in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience in laboratory operations or healthcare operations.
• Minimum of three (3) years of direct supervisory/management experience.
• Demonstrated experience with budgeting, revenue management, and cost control.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the Scottsdale laboratory with a focus on efficiency and quality.
• Leads, mentors, and develops high-performing teams through recruitment, onboarding, and coaching.
• Manages workforce planning, budgets, and financial performance.
• Ensures regulatory compliance with CAP, CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and EPA requirements.
• Collaborates with physician leadership, regional operations, and corporate partners.
• Drives continuous improvement, workflow optimization, and new test launches.
