Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Laboratory Coordinator II to oversee assigned laboratory operations, supervise testing personnel, and ensure QA/QC throughout the shift. You will provide technical and administrative leadership, participate in on-call duties, and support scheduling and competency assessments.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting, adherence to policies, and staff education while maintaining high analytic performance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science.
• Two years of laboratory training or non-waived testing experience.
• Demonstrates technical and theoretical knowledge to perform clinical laboratory functions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor test analyses and specimen examinations to maintain analytic performance.
• Supervise daily laboratory operations and testing personnel.
• Lead QA/QC processes, troubleshoot and document actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling including PTO and FMLA requests.
• Ensure competency assessments and SOP parameter coverage.
