Job summary

Lead laboratory staff, handle personnel processes, and ensure high-quality, compliant operations across services such as 3D and resin printing. Strong leadership and regulatory experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent plus 6 years of related work experience, or Master's degree with 4 years of related experience.
• Leadership experience with laboratory operations and staff management.

Responsibilities

• Direct/Manage/Supervise student-teaching laboratory services and stockroom within the ECE Department.
• Oversee cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safety; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead security and access operator for the university C-CURE system and act as EHS compliance officer.
• Ensure equipment maintenance and full regulatory compliance; manage planning for new services.
• Track and report student lab fees, inventory, and department budget; coordinate scheduling.
• Oversee hiring, firing, performance appraisals, time cards, and pay reviews.
• Provide leadership with broad knowledge of the field.
