Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with POC glucometer orientation, education, and troubleshooting.
• Print monthly QC reports and perform glucometer linearity checks every six months.
• Publish department education topics and revise procedure manuals.
• Update laboratory policies and procedures electronically with biannual reviews.
• Prepare monthly blood and urine culture contamination rate reports and EMR data.
• Monitor reference lab results for EMR scanning and chain-of-custody reviews.
• Order and stock phlebotomy and lab supplies; maintain employee files.
• Assist with phlebotomy scheduling and career-related tasks.
