Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center is seeking an experienced Manager, Laboratory Medicine to oversee the Main Hospital Rapid Results Lab (MHRRL) and ensure efficient workflows, accurate testing, and timely delivery of results. You will provide technical leadership in hematology and/or clinical chemistry and mentor a team of laboratory staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.
• New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist license required.
• ASCP MT/MLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily technical and administrative operations of the Main Hospital Rapid Results Lab.
• Provide technical leadership in hematology and/or clinical chemistry.
• Manage, mentor, and develop laboratory staff with training and evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Lead quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
• Oversee instrumentation, maintenance, inventory, and supply management.
• Participate in budget planning and financial management.
• Maintain regulatory readiness and quality management.
