Shift is evening 3:00 PM–11:00 PM or 4:00 PM–12:00 AM with rotation; NYS CLS license required; 2+ years clinical lab experience; degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or CLS; blood bank experience preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
• Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License.
• 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience; Blood Bank experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate and lead the technical work across all laboratory sections.
• Maintain complete, accurate records/logs/files.
• Prepare results for analysis and enter test results into the computer.
• Ensure accuracy of tests by adhering to SOPs.
• Perform routine and advanced equipment maintenance; produce neat, accurate documents.
• Maintain a clean, safe, adequately supplied laboratory environment.
• Provide direction and training on laboratory procedures; supervise shift activities.
• Oversee activities of assigned shift/area and handle special assignments.
