Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Biology, or Clinical Laboratory Sciences required.
• Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License required.
• 2+ years of clinical laboratory experience.
• Generalist laboratory experience including Blood Bank preferred.

Aufgaben

• Coordinates, provides leadership for, and performs with proficiency the technical and related work of all laboratory sections.
• Maintain complete, accurate, legible, neat, organized, up-to-date records/logs/files.
• Prepare results for analysis and enter test results into the computer, with minimal supervision.
• Assure the accuracy of all tests performed by adhering to the laboratory’s Standard Operating Procedures.
• Perform routine and advanced equipment maintenance; create neat, accurate, well-formatted documents.
• Contribute to the upkeep and safety of the laboratory and ensure a clean, safe, adequately supplied work area.
• Provide direction, training, and feedback on all laboratory procedures, as assigned.
