Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Manager 2 for the Comprehensive Cancer Center to lead day-to-day lab operations supporting cancer immunology and translational research.

You will provide administrative, operational, and technical leadership for immune profiling, cellular and molecular immunology, and human specimen-based projects, supervising personnel and coordinating cross‑functional collaborations across OSUCCC, PIIO, and the College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in immunology, biology or related field or equivalent.
• Experience managing laboratory operations, budgets, and personnel.
• Experience supporting immunology, molecular, cellular or translational research.
• Knowledge of lab safety, regulatory compliance, and quality management.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative research environment.
• Background check and pre-employment screenings completed.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day laboratory operations and support cancer immunology and immunotherapy programs.
• Provide administrative, operational, and technical leadership for immune profiling and related research.
• Oversee personnel, budgets, and resources; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate acquisition and implementation of new technologies.
• Support collaboration across OSUCCC, PIIO, and College of Medicine.
