Job summary

OSUCCC – James in Columbus, Ohio seeks an experienced Research Laboratory Manager 2 to oversee day-to-day operations and support cancer immunology and immunotherapy research programs.

The role provides administrative, operational, and technical leadership for immune profiling, cellular and molecular immunology, translational oncology, and human specimen-based research, coordinating with PIIO and College of Medicine.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Immunology, Biology, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, Biomedical Sciences, or related field.
• Experience managing laboratory operations, scientific resources, budgets, and personnel.
• Experience supporting biological, immunological, molecular, cellular, or translational research programs.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, regulatory compliance requirements, and quality management principles.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative research environment.
