Job Description

NETZSCH Premier Technologies, LLC is seeking a Laboratory Manager responsible for planning and directing all departmental activities, including customer testing, scheduling, organization, maintenance, and investments. The key responsibilities include:

1. Planning, coordinating, and overseeing testing for product development and manufacturing process improvements.
2. Providing technical support to sales through reports, papers, and presentations.
3. Coordinating research and analysis activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and approving modifications to formulas, standards, and processes.
4. Supervising and training laboratory staff in chemical handling, machine operation, and testing procedures.
5. Interpreting and communicating laboratory results to various stakeholders.
6. Collaborating with process teams in Germany and maintaining technical communication.
7. Preparing reports, performance guarantees, and technical papers; presenting at conferences.
8. Assisting in obtaining patents for products, processes, or equipment.
9. Managing the laboratory budget and participating in safety initiatives.
10. Ensuring a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience. Leadership experience is preferred. Additional requirements include:

1. Strong communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
2. Analytical skills for problem-solving and developing solutions.
3. Professional demeanor in stressful situations.
4. Ability to work on-site in Exton, PA.
