Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls is seeking a Laboratory Processor to join our team. You will obtain orders, perform data entry, and ensure proper patient identification and labeling of samples.

Duties include transporting samples to the laboratory following procedures and delivering excellent service to patients, doctors and colleagues. Responsibilities also include working under pressure and performing CLIA-waived moderate testing, contributing to accurate results and quality patient care

Qualifications

• High school diploma or higher.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, process doctors’ orders and data entry.
• Process incoming samples with proper patient identification and labeling.
• Transport/deliver samples to laboratory per procedures.
• Provide courteous customer service on the phone to patients, doctors and staff.
• Work well under pressure and perform CLIA-waived moderate testing.
