Job summary

Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls seeks a Laboratory Processor to obtain and process orders, enter data, and handle samples with proper patient identification. You will follow lab policies for transport and labeling while delivering excellent service to patients and medical staff by phone.

The role requires phlebotomy experience or coursework, current BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license. You must work well under pressure and perform CLIA-waived testing as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher required.
• Current BLS Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Phlebotomy coursework or experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and process doctors’ orders and perform data entry.
• Process incoming samples with proper patient identification and labeling.
• Follow hospital policies for transporting/delivering samples to the laboratory.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, doctors and medical staff by phone.
• Work well under pressure and perform CLIA-waived/moderate testing.
