Schreiber Foods in Green Bay, WI is offering a Laboratory Intern role in our corporate lab. You will assist lab staff with day-to-day needs and participate in projects related to laboratory methods and operations.

The internship is paid at $20.75 per hour and onsite. It targets part-time during the school year (20 hours/week) and full-time during summer and winter breaks, with flexible hours 6 am–6 pm, Monday–Friday, plus occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology, food sciences, nutritional or related field; graduation May 2028 or later.
• On-going internship until graduation (full time in summer, at least 20 hours per week during school year).
• Background working in a lab environment and safe lab practices.
• Interest in the food industry and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the laboratory staff with day-to-day needs.
• Completing projects as directed by leader (e.g. instrument onboarding and trialing).
• Conducting analytical testing of dairy products.
• Conducting product applications tests.

Job Description: As a Laboratory Intern at Schreiber Foods, you will have the opportunity to assist lab staff in routine activities, as well as projects relating to laboratory methods and operations.

This internship is available for an immediate start.

This is a paid internship with an hourly rate of pay: $20.75 / hour

This position is onsite at our corporate lab in Green Bay. Our ideal intern will work part time (20 hours a week) during the school year, and full time (40 hours a week) during summer and winter breaks. Hours are flexible, between 6 am and 6 pm, Monday-Friday, with some Saturday hours as needed.

What you’ll do:

• Must be currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Biology, Food Sciences, Nutritional (or any other related field), or an associate's degree in a lab-science related program.
